EASA Light Aircraft Pilot Licence
The Light Aircraft Pilot Licence (LAPL) is the EASA equivalent to the UK National Private Pilot Licence which will cease to exist in the near future.
The LAPL is ideal for people who want to fly for recreational purposes or who are unable to satisfy the more stringent medical requirements for a Private or Commercial Pilot Licence.
This license permits pilots to carry up to a maximum of 3 passengers in an aircraft with a maximum take off mass of up to 2,000kg.
Much like the PPL, we conduct training towards the LAPL on our Cessna 152s and Piper Warrior PA28s.
